World Earth Day
If there is Earth, there is greenery. There is greenery and there is life. There is life and we all are. The man who has forgotten this original mantra is engaged in destroying the Earth. Limited natural resources have been exploited so fast that they are going to end up before it is going to run throughout the year. The same day is called the meaning overshoot day.

Who gave the word Earth Day?
The word "Earth Day or Earth Day" was given by Julian Koenig 1969. The day of April 22 was chosen to celebrate this new movement, which is also the birthday of Kenig. He said that "Earth Day" mixes rhythm with "Berth Day", so he suggested celebrating Earth Day on April 22.
The US senator had started the Earth Day
Earth day was celebrated on April 22 every year by a US senator, Gelord Nelson. After seeing the huge wastage of oil leakage in Santa Barbara, California in 1969, he was so hurt that he decided to start with environmental protection. From 1970 to 1990, it spread all over the world and was celebrated as International Day from 1990. It is a programme that billions of people celebrate every year and is probably one of the most celebrated programmes.
Thousands of students became part of the movement
On April 22, 1970, the Earth Day marked the beginning of the modern environment movement. About 20 million Americans participated with the goal of a healthy, sustainable environment. Thousands of colleges and universities organized demonstrations against environmental corruption. Earth Day proved popular in america and the world. On April 22, 1990, the world appreciated the re-rotation efforts and paved the way for the 1992 UN Earth Conference in Rio de Janeiro. Through the Earth Day network, workers can interlink changes in national, local and global policies.
Why did he choose 22 April?
Senator Nelson chose a date that could maximize the participation of environmental teaching on the college campus. They took the best week till April 19-25, as it is neither a test nor a spring holiday. Nor are religious holidays like Easter etc. at this time. He was expected to stay in the classroom of more students, so he chose the day of April 22.

Global Warming... Earth In danger
We have been assuming the World Earth Day for so many years and are giving a message of environmental protection to the country and the world. Nevertheless, the danger on the earth remains the same. The biggest threat is from global warming. The ever-increasing level in Earth's temperature is called global warming. At present, it is emerging as a major problem before the whole world.
Main factors of global warming
It is believed that the main reason for the heating of the Earth's atmosphere is the increase in greenhouse gas levels. If it was neglected and no immediate steps were taken by the countries all over the world to get rid of it, the day is not far away when the Earth will move towards its end. Key factors responsible for global warming -The emission of carbon dioxide after industrialization has increased manifold in the last 15 years. -These gases are emitted from common use devices, fridges, computers, scooters, cars, etc. More than 10 million tonnes of plastic is being produced every year in the world and it is continuously increasing. -Greenhouse gases are also responsible for global warming. These include nitrous oxide, methane, chloro-fluoro carbon, vapor, ozone. -Continuous changes in the weather cycle are constantly threatening the environment.
Effects of Global Warming
All over the world, the summer is getting longer, and the winter is small. The drinking water on Earth was never available for all a year. In the meantime, the resource was collected again in the rain and other ways. It is not so now. The use of excessive water has begun to end the year before the water can be used on Earth. The concern is that earth overshoot day is coming closer year after year.

About Earth Overshoot Day
Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year. We maintain this deficit by liquidating stocks of ecological resources and accumulating waste, primarily carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Earth Overshoot Day is hosted and calculated by Global Footprint Network, an international research organization that provides decision-makers with a menu of tools to help the human economy operate within Earth’s ecological limits.
To determine the date of Earth Overshoot Day for each year, Global Footprint Network calculates the number of days of that year that Earth’s biocapacity suffices to provide for humanity’s Ecological Footprint. The remainder of the year corresponds to global overshoot. Earth Overshoot Day is computed by dividing the planet’s biocapacity (the amount of ecological resources Earth is able to generate that year), by humanity’s Ecological Footprint (humanity’s demand for that year), and multiplying by 365, the number of days in a year:
(Earth’s Biocapacity / Humanity’s Ecological Footprint) x 365 = Earth Overshoot Day
