Unlock 1 Full Guidelines

The Modi government released the guidelines regarding Unlock-1 on Saturday. Everything in the country will be opened in a phased manner. But restrictions will continue until 30 June at Containment Jones. States can impose restrictions as per their assessment. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will issue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the things that will open in the Containment Zone. 

Activities will continue at these places

According to the guidelines, the religious places or places of prayer for the people inside Phase 1 will open from June 8. Apart from this, hotels, restaurants and other hospitality services will also open from this day itself. Apart from this, the shopping mall will also be approved from June 8.

Places still prohibited from opening

In Phase 2, schools, colleges, educational, training, coaching institutes etc. will be opened with the advice of the state, union territories. According to the guidelines, the state governments or the administration of the union territory can consult with the parents and stakeholders. Based on the feedback, the decision to reopen these institutions will be taken in the month of July.

After evaluating the situation in Phase 3, it will be decided to re-introduce these charges:

  • International air services (except approval given by the Ministry of Home Affairs)
  • Metro Rail Services
  • Cinema hall, gym, swimming pool, entertainment park, theater, bar and auditorium, assembly hall and other similar places.
  • Social, political, sports, religious, cultural or any other program.
According to the guidelines, movement of people across the country will be banned from 9 pm to 5 am. In this, exemption has been given for important things. In this, the local authorities will issue orders under the appropriate provisions of law in their area, such as Section 144.

States get exemption, will be able to decide rules

In the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has also been said that the state or Union Territory may, based on their assessment of the situation, impose restrictions on certain things outside the Containment Zone or apply restrictions if necessary.

There will be no restriction on inter-state and inter-state movement of people and goods. No approval is required for this.

Apart from this, people above 65 years of age, pregnant women and children below 10 years have been advised to stay at home.

Let us know that the fourth phase of the lockdown imposed to control the Coronavirus Pandemic ends on 31 May. The first lockdown in the country was imposed on March 24, prohibiting the movement of people and sale of non-essential items. From then onwards restrictions were gradually relaxed, except in the containment zone. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday spoke to the Chief Minister regarding the status of Covid-19 on the ground and sought his views on increasing the lockdown after 31 May.
Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant gave the first indication of increasing lockdown. He said on Friday that there was a telephone conversation with Home Minister Amit Shah. The lockdown is expected to extend for 15 days. Let us know what concessions can be found in Lockdown 5.0 and the strictness will remain.
