The Reason Behind Banning

As we all know that on September 2, the central government had banned 118 Chinese apps including PUBG Mobile in the country. The Center has banned these apps citing national security. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had reported that these mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms were stealing users' data and illegally transmitting this data to servers located outside the country. The Indian Government also had said that those 118 apps are “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of the state and public order”.
